2020 Citizenship Ceremony and Australian Day

Rotary Club Hamilton members helped the Australian Day Citizenship Ceremony on Australian Day at the Hamilton Townhall.

It is our 16th Year of supporting the local community with this great event and welcome new Aussies.

After another successful Citizenship Ceremony, we enjoyed an afternoon at Ascot Park running the BBQ for the local Australia Day celebrations.

Thanks to Cr David McLachlan and Tim Nicholls MP for giving us the opportunity to serve the local community.

Our club welcomes all new Aussies to come and visit us at the Royal Queensland Golf Club. We meet on Tuesday from 6:15 to 7:30 pm.

Club Profile

The Rotary Club of Hamilton was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Fortitude Valley. After an inaugural meeting held at "Coolden", New Farm, in July, 1956, the Club had its first official meeting at Royal Queensland Golf Club where it has continued to meet ever since.

The Charter from Rotary International was presented on 23 February, 1957, at a function held at Lennons Hotel, Brisbane.
