The Salvation Army Rural Chaplaincy Fund

The Salvation Army provides a network of support for
people in regional and remote areas in need of
practical assistance, or who would simply benefit
from a listening ear or a hand of friendship.
The Salvation Army has 12 Rural Chaplains covering
most of NSW, ACT and Queensland. The Outback
Flying Service also operates in remote and isolated
areas. The chaplains conduct regular visits to farmers
and rural workers, maintaining ongoing personal
contact and support between visits.
