In Memory of Glen Kinross OA & past Rotary International President
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Glen Kinross, a cherished member of the Rotary Club of Hamilton and a past President of Rotary International (1997-1998). Glen’s dedication to Rotary spanned over six decades, during which he exemplified the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.”
Glen’s presidency was marked by his theme “Show Rotary Cares,” which highlighted the importance of community service and global outreach. His leadership and vision helped strengthen Rotary’s mission and expand its humanitarian efforts worldwide. Beyond his presidency, Glen served as a District Governor and a Trustee of the Rotary Foundation, leaving a lasting legacy of compassion and commitment.
Glen’s contributions to Rotary and his unwavering dedication to service have left an indelible mark on our club and the broader Rotary community. He will be remembered for his kindness, leadership, and the positive impact he made on countless lives.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Glen’s family and friends during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
